Splash Photography

The idea was that we (Stephanie and I) would create a splash art photo series in Stephanie's studio.

For this I first created a mood board (see attachment below) and then discussed what our ideas were. Ultimately we came up with:

A glass placed underwater in an aquarium, with fruit 'falling into it'.

I can achieve this by taping a glass to the bottom of the aquarium and filling it with water.

For the lighting plan I used Stephanie's lights and I wanted them to have the background dark and the glass nicely in the picture. I also used my tripod for this. The image must not be blurred, so you cannot photograph by hand.

For the lighting plan, I used Stephanie's lamps and aimed to have them set up so that the background was dark and the glass was nicely highlighted. I also used my tripod. The image cannot be blurry, so you cannot shoot handheld.

The idea was to make a photo series that was used as advertising for the movie Princess Diaries. (see photo on the right)

In this collage, model Anna Hathaway strikes various poses as she goes about her daily routine.

It seems to me a very nice collage to make with a model. So I made a moodboard for this (see below pictures)

The location was Stephanie's studio in Laren.

For makeup, I wanted to keep it as natural as possible in the beginning and then she gradually gets more makeup.
